Shell and Tube Evaporator

KANSA manufactures stainless steel shell-and-tube evaporators for process chillers and industrial cooling systems. The evaporator transfers heat from circulating water or compatible cooling fluid to the refrigerant, providing the cooling side of the refrigeration system.

Our shell-and-tube evaporators are available in vertical and horizontal configurations for different compressor capacities and refrigeration-circuit arrangements. Current models cover single-circuit and multi-circuit configurations, with selection based on compressor horsepower, number of refrigerant circuits, water connection size and installation dimensions.
